Guest Post Guidelines

The Canadian Seniors Directory blog is an important resource for exploring Canadian Seniors landscape and access to information and data for Canadian seniors. We aim to publish articles written by experts in their related fields to the benefit of our readers and visitors.

We look for posts that are well researched with practical tips and advice and links to valid and legitimate resources. Most of our readers are seniors and caregivers and they all expect accurate, high quality, credible and verifiable information.

If you would like to submit a guest post for publication on the Canadian Seniors Directory blog, please carefully read the paragraphs below before sending in your submission.

Requirements

  • Articles need to be of interest to the Canadian seniors and their caregivers and the greater community. Articles with specialized content with no relevancy to seniors in Canada will not be published.
  • Make sure that your guest post is original content that has not been published elsewhere, especially on other websites or social networks.
  • We run a PLAGIARISM SCAN REPORT on all the content we receive and only unique content is accepted. If the literary work is already published and you are the sole owner of the work, we will work with you and may decide to link to the online article instead. In any case you need to inform us that the article you are submitting to us or portion of it has already been published anywhere, on paper or online.
  • We prefer a typical post to contain about 1000 –1500 words, however it is decided on case by case basis.
  • Make sure that your article does not contain sales pitches, branding exercises, or self-serving promotional content. You may want to promote yourself and your expertise in a short bio that accompanies your article and is show at the end of the page.
  • Make sure to let us know if you are not the original writer, If you are submitting on behalf of an organization (a brand, company, institution, etc.) or you represent a marketing agency.
