CALL FOR RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS
Research Project on how mobility data from wearable devices can help early frailty detection and promote healthy aging
This study involves 3 visits to the University of Calgary Main Campus. You will be provided smart insoles, x2 personally fitted pairs of stability footwear and a GPS Device to use in daily activities for 1 month.
This research project is open to those who are 65 years or older, can walk independently without a wheelchair for at least 20m (walking aids permitted), have no severe cognitive impairments and do not require customized footwear or orthotics.
You will be reimbursed for your participation. The University of Calgary Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board has approved this study (REB25-1745).
