CMHA/GB is a not-for-profit registered charity which is governed by board of directors and is part of a national organization.
Mission Statement
To provide programs and services that support the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental disorders, and to enhance, maintain, and promote the mental and emotional health of all individuals in Grey and Bruce Counties.
Overview
Most of us go through our life solving our day-to-day problems without needing help to cope with our feelings. Sometimes things get out of hand. A severe illness, an accident or an emotional crisis can overwhelm us, at least temporarily, and suddenly we need help.
If you or someone you know are unable to cope, are depressed, or facing a mental health crisis, please call the Mental Health Crisis Line at 1-877-470-5200 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The line is staffed by trained volunteers with professional supervision. For emergencies, call 9-1-1.
